Students in the Riverbend Middle School Medical Detectives PLTW course experienced a multi-day lesson focused on conducting patient interviews. Groups rotated through the classroom to interview five different medical patients. The purpose of the interviews was to gather information that could be used to help our "medical experts" determine what illness each patient has, how to treat it, and how to prevent getting the illness in the first place. They would then provide a diagnosis and treatment for a patient based on test results, patient interviews, and medical file information. This is #MVNation developing collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills!

Fourth grade students from across the district competed in the MVR-III Spelling Bee last week.
