It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the passing of Mr. Al Baldwin, First State Community Bank President and friend to MVR-III.
Mr. Baldwin is known and respected in the Meramec Valley area. To those of us in the school district, his reputation as an outstanding community member and supporter of our schools will always be remembered. He and his team have organized school supply and food donations, written grants for the homeless, along with sponsoring financial literacy programs for students. Mr. Baldwin and his team at First State Community Bank were the recipients of the 2021 Community Partners Award.
We will remember Mr. Baldwin best by the words of Coretta Scott King, “The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.”
Funeral arrangements have not been set. Once we have this information, it will be posted on the district website. Please keep Al Baldwin’s family and friends at First State Community Bank in your thoughts.
