Event organizers are seeking volunteers for the Harvest Moon 5k night run & walk is on Saturday, October 23rd in Route 66 State Park after dark. 

Why is the Harvest Moon 5k event important to the Meramec Valley community? 

  • The Harvest Moon Run is 100% volunteer organization and proceeds from the race benefit the Harvest Moon Run Hunger Mission, supporting initiatives like the Eureka-Pacific Elks Weekend Backpack Food Program and surrounding area food pantries including Agape Food Pantry.

What do volunteers need to know about the Harvest Moon 5k?

  • Volunteer Path Lighters needed to stand on the sideline throughout the course with flashlights to cheer and motivate runners and walkers.

  • Volunteers needed for a 2-hour commitment, arriving at 5:45 p.m. and finishing out the course with the last participant around 8 p.m.  Documentation needed for service hours will be provided.

How do I sign up to volunteer?
