Three leaders are recognized for being Difference Makers in the Meramec Valley R-III School District. Blair Thompson, Activities Director, was identified for making an impossible task look effortless with scheduling activities for the entire school district. Additionally, Mr. Thompson is known as a team player and brings clarity and calmness to all the details involved in athletics and facility management. Another leader recognized by his peers is Keith Orris, Zitzman Elementary Principal. Mr. Orris was recognized for being a model of calm during trying times. Orris mentors new leaders and is highly involved in district activities. The final leader recognized for the month of September was Jeff Pipes, MVR-III Facilities & Maintenance Director. Mr. Pipes oversees multiple visions and projects all at one time. He prioritizes and listens to many different perspectives throughout the district to make the best decision for students and staff.
Throughout the 2021-2022 school year, Difference Makers will be identified for their role in making MVR-III a great place to learn and work. If you observe a student or MVR-III employee making a difference, please contact a building administrator to show appreciation for their efforts. Together, we can make a difference in doing what’s best for kids and the MVR-III School District.
