The Meramec Valley School District is excited to announce a partnership with T-Mobile’s Project 10 Million, which provides free Wi-Fi hotspots to eligible families. This initiative aims to bridge the digital divide and ensure that students have access to reliable Internet connectivity.
To receive a free Wi-Fi hotspot, families must qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch program before June 2025. Each eligible family can receive one hotspot. The provided hotspots offer the significant benefits of high-speed Internet and enhanced online safety. Each allows for 100GB of high-speed connectivity per year for five years and includes built-in web content filtering and malware blocking.
To participate, families should contact their child's school office to confirm eligibility and then sign and return the consent agreement. Once verified, families will be able to pick up a hotspot at their oldest child's school.
