DHELC students at the Pacific Varsity Girl's basketball game.




Students from DHELC sang the National Anthem and said the Pledge of Allegiance before last nights Girl's Varsity basketball game. Our MVR-III Pillar of Success word of the month is Respectfulness. Our students were showing kindness and respect to our community, our flag, our country and our schools.





Tomorrow is the last day to bring in cans for our "Souper" bowl Food Drive. Cans will be accepted until 4pm on Friday. We have had a tremendous amount of support. Thank you so much for all of the participation we have had for this event.


Ms. Dawn's class dressed up like 100 year old's to celebrate the 100th day of school.

Ms. Megan's class had a great day making 100 day hats in their class celebrating the 100th day of school.




Ms. Abbi's class had a fun day celebrating the 100th day of school in their classroom. They made fruit loop necklaces by counting 100 fruit loops and stringing them on a string.





Ms. Miranda's class had a fun day celebrating the 100th day of school in their classroom. They dressed up as 100 year old's and made fruit loop necklaces by counting 100 fruit loops and stringing them on a string.





Ms. Patty's class celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as a 100 year old and by counting 100 pegs in class.




Students at DHELC celebrated 100 days of school yesterday! We encouraged students to dress as a 100 year old person. It was a great day!


Please join us this Thursday, February 9, 2023 at PHS. We will be singing the National Anthem and saying the Pledge of Allegiance before the varsity girls' basketball game. Arrival time is 5 p.m. We will meet you in the PHS gym. Students will be sitting with their parents until they are called down. There will be no charge for the game.

Don't forget to bring in your canned goods next week for our "Souper" Bowl Canned Food Drive. All cans and non-perishable items will be donated to our local Agape House here in Pacific. Please have all items in by Friday, February 10th. We have already started our collection! The class who collects the most cans wins a Pizza Party!!


Two years ago, Robin Mach, ECSE teacher at DHELC , donated one of her kidneys to a student in her class. February 3rd marks her 2 year kindneyversary. Robin and Kayleigh are doing great. She got to visit her old preschool and her life saver on Friday to celebrate this huge event. Thank you Robin and good luck to Kayleigh!




Ms. Patty's class participated in predicting what we thought the groundhog would do. Our class wanted to Spring to come! Look at their smiling faces. You can see by their sad faces, they were not very happy that Phil saw his shadow today and we will be having 6 more weeks of winter. We then had a special snack of sausage and a pancake.





Bring in your canned food for donation to the local Agape House during the week of February 6-10. Classrooms will be competing with each other for a special surprise at the end of the week.


Please help us celebrate Groundhog Day on Thursday, February 2nd. Students are allowed to wear their PJ's to school. We will be having a special snack of pancakes and sausage links .

Ms. Megan's class made "Grinch pudding" and drank anti-grinch juice to keep being a kind and honest kid. They came up with ways to grow the Grinch's heart, made a Grinch's hat, read How the Grinch Stole Christmas and watched the Grinch movie.





Ms. Patty's class decorated gingerbread houses on Thursday, December 15th in class.
