Coleman Elementary will open a PreK classroom on November 6, 2023 due to the district being awarded the Missouri Quality PreK Grant. Students must be age four by July 31, 2023 and students enrolled must qualify for the free/reduced lunch program. This Friday, Oct. 13, is an early release day for students. Secondary will release at 12 PM and elementary at 1:10 PM. The Homecoming Parade begins at 2:30 PM and the PHS Tailgate starts at 5 PM. Super Smokers BBQ and Love at First Bite Tamales food trucks, PHS Band Booster Walking Tacos, the National Guard obstacle course, and children's bounce houses will all be on site. Doris Hoffman ELC Pre-K graduation is set for Tuesday, May 23rd at the new Zitzman gymnasium. Students will attend the ceremony that corresponds to their morning (homeroom) teacher. Students will need to be dropped off at DHELC, and Zitzman gym doors will open at 5pm. Come celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2036!

Ms. Miranda's class enjoyed making bunny ears and finding eggs during their egg hunt today. They also had a fun visit with the Easter Bunny.
Ms. Kelly's class enjoyed popping bubbles from a bubble machine at recess yesterday.
Ms. Dianna's class celebrated the Cardinal's Opening Day by wearing their favorite Cardinal gear and learning how to play baseball.
Ms. Kelly's classes loved supporting the Cardinal's opening day today and learning to sing the song, "Take Me Out to the Ballgame!"
