COLOR WEEK
Families,
During the next two weeks we are going to be working on colors. Help us by having your child wear a different color each day using the schedule below:

If your child doesn’t have any clothes in the colors that we are wearing on a particular day, don’t worry! We understand that not everyone will have clothing in every color. This is a fun way to help us learn colors and any day that your child is able to participate is appreciated.

DHELC had a great time celebrating Halloween at our Trunk or Treat! Everyone have a safe and Happy Halloween tonight!
Trunk or Treat is tomorrow night at DHELC from 5:30-6:30. If you are having your trunk in our event, please arrive at 5pm to begin setting up your space. We will be lining cars up in the back of the building and along the south end of the parking lot. If you are only coming to trunk or treat, we ask that you park either up in the Zitzman parking lot or in the PI parking lot and walk over. Please remember we have SACC students still in the building and our front spots need to remain open. We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night at this event.
We need your HELP! Our Trunk or Treat at DHELC is scheduled for Thursday, October 27th from 5:30-6:30 pm. At this time, we have very few trunks signed up. Please get in touch with your child's teacher if you would like to sign up and participate in this event. We hope to have a big turnout!!!
Just a reminder that tomorrow is Absentee/Retake Picture Day at DHELC. Wagner Portrait Group with be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the initial picture day, or any student that needs his/her picture retaken.
Reminder: Friday, October 7th is an early dismissal day for tuition, ADA and our full day SPED class. Students need to be picked up by 1:10 pm. If your child will be attending SACC for the remainder of the day, please note that you will not be able to access the building between 2-4 pm due to the parade route.
Please join us tomorrow in Hat Day at DHELC. Students may pay $1 to wear a hat all day at school. Proceeds will go to support Franklin County United Way.

Huge thank you to all our families, staff and community! The donation drive was led by DHELC aide Kellie Cowsert, was a huge success! A special thanks to the Pacific Presbyterian Church and their donation of items totaling over $700 and the tri-county senior center which donated a large amount of canned food items. Over 6,000 items were donated and sent to Kentucky. This is truly a great community who supports those in need!
DHELC Families-We are collecting items for Central Elementary in Mayfield, KY. Please send donation items in by Friday, December 17th.

DHELC-For ALL PK Students-Reminder! PK Graduation is set for May 24th. There are 2 Sessions, please check the flyer for which session your child's class is attending. Also please note due to capacity limitations, we will only allow 2 GUESTS PER GRADUATE. Masks will be required for all guests. DHELC-Summer session for students in ESY or tuition programs begins June 2nd. The building will be closed to students from May 27th-June 1st to prepare for the summer session.
