Last week, Kindergarten students celebrated the end of their CKLA Knowledge unit on Kings and Queens.
Students worked together to complete an escape room. Each team completed activities and earned letters. Once they had all the letters it spelled a word and that was the code to save the queen from the dragon.

Yesterday, was a great day to cuddle up with a good book. Students in Mrs. Canada's class had a little more fun reading with flashlights.

It's time for Kindergarten Screening.

With Kindergarten registration opening soon, now is a great time to take a look at what some of our current KDG students are experiencing. Mrs. O’Halloran and Ms. Jones’ classes had a farm day to celebrate the end of their unit. Activities included a scavenger hunt, farmers' market, sensory bins, & more. Our Kindergarten "farmers" harvested carrots to make consonant-vowel-consonant words, matched numbers to farm animals, & sorted upper & lowercase letters. #MVNation #GrowingTogether

Keeping MVR-III families & community informed and connected is a top priority. The family experience is about to become even better with the latest update to our district app, which includes easier navigation, centralized family messages, filters, and more. 4th graders gave a spectacular performance this evening. Students were dressed in festive wear as they sang holiday songs and drummed on the buckets. Great job Coleman Warriors!

November was a huge month of giving for Coleman Elementary. Students collected over 1,000 items during the school food drive, providing meals to families for Thanksgiving. The Gray Summit Masonic Lodge made a donation to purchase coats, shoes, and clothing, and the Local 513 Operating Engineers donated coats to our students who are in need. The Coleman Elementary community is so thankful for the support and generosity of our students and local organizations. You are all Difference Makers!
