Today we held our first Character Cruise Boot Camp. Students heard about the expectations of a number of different spaces around the building. Our 4th grade students lead those conversations. We want to give our students voice and opportunities for leadership roles.

Every student at NE/RE summer school painted a "Kindness Rock" yesterday. All of the rocks were arranged around the flower bed in front of Nike. Great memories were made during Summer School this year!
Class meetings are a great way to build a positive classroom environment. Every student has a chance to have their voices heard. They also help when doing fun activities like painting rocks with kind words on them.
Thanks Mrs. Thompson
