Kindergarten at Robertsville had a busy week this past week. All throughout the week they learned about Johnny Appleseed while also going through ABC Bootcamp. We are so proud of their perseverance and eagerness to learn as they have been working hard to identify all 26 letters of the alphabet and their sounds. Thursday the entire school celebrated them by coming out in the hallways for a Kindergarten ABC fashion show!

Robertsville Elementary had two new students start today. 4th grade leaders, Kyler and Logan showed them around the school and made them feel welcome. I’m always a proud principal when I see this in action.

This is just one example of the kind of students we have at Robertsville Elementary. They are always willing to lend a helping hand.

August Birthdays @ Robertsville. Each student receives a free Birthday book.

Kelsey Bowers was gracious enough to purchase a book for every student at Robertsville Elementary for the second year in a row. THANK YOU!

Today we held our first Character Cruise Boot Camp. Students heard about the expectations of a number of different spaces around the building. Our 4th grade students lead those conversations. We want to give our students voice and opportunities for leadership roles.

Every student at NE/RE summer school painted a "Kindness Rock" yesterday. All of the rocks were arranged around the flower bed in front of Nike. Great memories were made during Summer School this year!

Class meetings are a great way to build a positive classroom environment. Every student has a chance to have their voices heard. They also help when doing fun activities like painting rocks with kind words on them.
Thanks Mrs. Thompson

Thank you First State Community Bank for donating so many jars of peanut butter and jelly to Robertsville and our local schools. Your generosity will help feed our community once school is out.

Kassidy has mastered her addition/subtraction/ and all multiplication facts!
It is the first time that Mrs. Wade has ever had anyone master all 12 facts in 2nd grade.

3rd graders in Mrs. Holtz’s and Ms. Dillard’s class are learning about matter through an experiment. The question is: which will melt Peeps best, vinegar, Sprite, or water?
