Week
Riverbend students concluded Red Ribbon Week with a presentation by our own Mrs. Tomnitz-Sucher. Though difficult, she shared her family history and grief of losing her brother due to choices involving alcohol and drugs. The serious nature of the topic and our personal connection to Mrs T, effected staff and students. Please talk with your child and see how they are feeling. We are available to supply any resources you may need.

Today, we welcome back Coach Missey. As many of you know she has been battling Stage 2B Breast Cancer since her diagnosis on April 14th. She has completed 6 rounds of chemo, underwent surgery, and she will continue to undergo several weeks of treatment and finish off with 12 weeks of maintenance injections. To remind her that NO-ONE fights alone and that WE stand with her… the 7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball Teams, as well as RMS cheerleaders invite you to join us tonight for the Pink Out Game. 7th Grade plays at 5:30 pm and 8th Grade will follow. Let's come together as a community and show our love and support for Coach Missey and her family.
