Congratulations to the speech team for their second-place finish at Saturday's district tournament. Pacific students won three of the eleven individual event championships, and PHS qualified six events to the state tournament. The following students won Individual Event district championships:

Megan Patton & Regan Killbreath: Duet Acting
Ava Deusinger: Poetry Reading
Ava made school history with the win; she is the first Pacific freshman ever to qualify to compete at the state tournament.

Madison Lewis, second place in Prose Reading
Riley Cook, third place in Radio Speaking
