On February 7th, the Scenic Regional Library in Pacific kicked off its annual "A Celebration of Local Art" exhibition. The event showcased a vibrant array of artwork from both professional and amateur artists from the surrounding community, including several impressive pieces created by Pacific High School students.
The opening night was a lively gathering, where students had the opportunity to enjoy refreshments, interact with fellow artists, and connect with alumni such as Jetta Schuler and Rowan Humphrey. Although the exhibition is not juried, the event attracted a large crowd eager to appreciate and support local talent.
Thanks to Allison Heisler, the library's dedicated program director, for organizing this wonderful show, which has become a beloved tradition for the past few years. Her efforts have brought the community together to celebrate creativity and the diverse voices of local artists.
