This past week, the PHS Library hosted a Free Book Fair for students, offering them the opportunity to select books for themselves and their families in time for the holiday season. The event was made possible through a partnership with First Book, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting literacy by providing free books for children.
Students eagerly browsed a wide selection of titles, choosing books that ranged from picture books to young adult novels. The books were all donated by First Book, with the aim of ensuring that every child has access to quality reading materials, especially during the holidays.
A special thank you goes to Mrs. Fleming, Ms. Vancil, and Ms. Bowers, who collaborated with First Book to bring this generous donation to the PHS community. Their efforts made the Free Book Fair a reality and helped promote literacy for all students at the school.
