Mrs. Shoemaker’s 4th graders are starting the engineering and design unit. Students were given the challenge to construct the tallest tower possible. The results were not satisfactory. After discussing the need for a plan and how to learn from their mistakes, the class attempted the project with impressive results.

Calling all 3rd and 4th grade girls...join the fun and register for Girls on the Run! Registration opens January 17th on the Girls on the Run website. Practice begins February 25 and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45-5:15. We can’t wait to get started!
