Nike's very own Reed Hurt won first place for our region and third place for his grade level for the Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District poster contest: "One Water". "The Conservation Poster Contest is an annual event sponsored by Soil and Water Conservation Districts nationwide. The purpose of the contest is to provide young people with an avenue to gain a better appreciation for our environment and share this caring sentiment through artwork." 4th Graders was given the opportunity to make their poster on their own time and submit it to the contest. We are so proud of Reed's initiative to design, create and submit his poster.
